Intersex - The Third Gender

There is a third gender that many people are born under that some people are not even aware of.

In the likely event that this would happen the parents have a rather tough decision that needs to be made.

The other gender is commonly referred to as Intersex and it refers to a baby that is born with both a vagina and a penis.

The idea is that the person was mixed up when being conceived or the idea that perhaps twins were at one time melded together at some point during the process of creation.

No matter which way you look at it you have a person that is born with both parts and one or the other sex is needed to be chosen. That is the main area of concern.

Despite the fact that the world is trying to become more tolerant of the people who have more than one sex, there is still the idea that a person must be listed as one or the other for legal purposes.

That is why the doctors have devised methods that make the baby a single sex before they leave the hospital to make things a bit easier on the child and the parent. In most cases the child is male to the furthest degree but has the female parts on the outside.

This is from the idea that the child is also male on the inside and not capable of reproduction from a female point of view. Intersex people are generally thought to be mixed up in one way or the other.

Most of them are treated as male children once the operation is finished and this seems to be the best idea for the results that have been shown thus far. In a lot of cases the parents decide to raise the child as a female which is becoming a rather bad idea.

That is something that can really misalign a child because the interior of the child is telling them that they are a male. This is how things start to go bad. Of the largest portion of children of intersex that were polled, the ones that were raised as male were married and had children.

The ones that were raised as girls were not married, often times homosexual, and not happy with their lives. This points to the main reasons why the person should be raised as a male. This also speaks to the idea that the child may be born with a very small penis because the female gene for the organs may have been stronger.

With that in mind the doctors have to make the decision whether or not to use the surgical methods for making the penis larger. This is often referred to as micro-penis and it is something that often times afflicts the children born to intersex genes.

Doctors have a procedure that is capable of bring the child's penis to the proper length so that it will grow into an average size memer.
