If you're a guy and you get a lot of emails about semen enhancers and see a lot of online ads for volume pills, after a while, you may be wondering if all this talk about semen enhancers are really worth it.

Maybe you start looking at websites that sell volume pills. Perhaps you begin trolling Internet message boards for other men's experiences with semen enhancers.

All of a sudden, ordering and taking some of these supplements seems like a good idea. But will the woman in your life notice a difference?

Physical matters

Many ads for semen enhancers talk about the increased sensation and expanded volume that their products produce. And if these products give you better orgasms and makes you feel better, then go for it.

But as far as the woman in your life is concerned, the mechanics of sex means that your partner probably won't notice much difference.

It's all internal anyway and if you're both caught up in the moment, she's not going to stop and say, hey, look, more semen! She's either happy with your sex life or she isn't. Using semen enhancers isn't going to make much difference.

The cost of volume pills

If you begin taking volume pills, you'll need to keep taking them regularly in order to maintain the desired semen enhancer effect. This means regular purchases of these supplements. When buying them online, it's even more expensive when you factor in shipping and handling charges.

If you're buying semen enhancers in order to drum up your sex life, you're going about it the wrong way. You'd be better off spending that money on something that both you and your partner can enjoy.

The woman in your life would probably get a bigger kick out of opening a small gift box, pulling out the tissue and revealing a naughty lace teddy than to know you've spent money on volume pills. She doesn't get much out of that.

But a nice dinner, a good bottle of wine -- hell, pay the babysitter for an extra hour or two -- that would be worth it and show her how you feel.

Measuring the effect

Okay, so you've decided to go buy some semen enhancers and volume pills. How will you be sure they work? Have you gone and measured the volume and quality of the semen that you already produce? Probably not. So your choices are either set up a home chemistry lab or go to an independent lab and ask them to test it for you.

Again, probably not something the average guy would do. So how do you know that these pills are effective? Will you even know? If your lady can't tell and you can't tell, what's the point? You're just throwing money down the drain, unless you believe every detail of the advertisement you read.

When you sit down and think about the cost and benefits of using semen enhancers and volume pills, you need to consider how much of a difference you'll notice physically and how much of a difference your partner will notice physically.

If neither one notices any difference using the volume pills or not, then maybe it's just not worth it.
